Your reservation is confirmed by signing a contract and placing your deposit of 50% of your full room rental rate for the date you selected. Payments are non-refundable. 

We accept cash, check, VISA, Mastercard and American Express. There is a 3% charge for credit card payment. There is a $30 charge for all checks returned NSF.

Earl & Wilson’s capacity is 404 seated for dining. 

We have worked diligently to compile a list of Preferred Vendors for Catering. In many cases they have come up with special pricing and menus for Earl & Wilson. These vendors know our catering kitchen and facility. While we do require that you choose from our Preferred Vendor list, we feel it will ensure that your service is seamless. 

Any food and beverage minimums are dependent upon your caterer.

If liquor is to be served, it must be served by either your Caterer, who may hold a liquor license or a Bartending Service that is licensed and insured for a St. Paul location. The Caterer or Bar Service will ensure no underage consumption and that alcohol served does not leave the premises.

Yes! Either of our two main rooms would make fine ceremony and rehearsal settings. Both have windows spanning the width of the room on both sides, original wood beam ceilings, stack stone or brick walls and loads of charm. 

At the time of your booking, a rehearsal date will be tentatively scheduled. The date and time of your rehearsal is subject to change based on availability of the space.

EARL & WILSON has an amazing Bridal Room. You and your bridal party can start the day there getting your hair and make-up done in front of five lighted mirrors, tables and professional salon chairs. An antique vanity and original stack stone wall provide great photo ops, a closet for holding bags, comfy lounging furniture, buffet and fridge for catered in snacks and a private restroom are additional features.

We understand that men spend a lot of time before a wedding just waiting around. We designed the Groom’s Ready Room to help take their mind off the wait. Comfortable leather sofas, wingback chairs, tables and chairs to sit at, foosball table, big screen TV, giant world map mural, a buffet for catered snacks, fridge, a closet for bag storage and plenty of device charging outlets. There is also an original stacked stone wall and antler chandelier for photo ops. 

We are aware that every wedding is unique and as such we don’t constrain you to our taste in linens. Choose your linen rental from our preferred vendor list or someone else you might find. 

Your caterer will provide the China, Glasses and Flatware. 

We offer 72” round tables which seat 10 or 12 at each, and 60" round tables which seat 8 or 10 at each. We also have six 96” rectangular tables for head, gift, buffet and tables, etc. Also available to you are 404 beautiful black X-back steel chairs with black pads. 

Our policies are in line with most venues. All candles must be surrounded by glass (referred to as “no open flame”). We do not allow bubbles, glitter, foam, fog, rice or confetti. Rose petals may be used on the tables. No tape is to be affixed to painted surfaces.

Beautiful velvet furniture is set in the lounge area. You are welcome to rent additional furniture if you would like it in anywhere else in the event space. 

The stack stone walls look amazing uplit. We have lighting vendors on our Preferred Vendor list for your convenience or you can use your own vendor. 

Your Caterer is the only vendor that must be chosen from our extensive list of Preferred Vendors.
You are required to have a Day of Coordinator of your choosing but they must be insured.
We encourage you to utilize the talented list we have assembled for our Preferred Vendor List. These folks are familiar with our space and have been vetted to meet our expectations for excellence in service and professionalism. Many vendors on the list have created special service menus and pricing for events held at Earl & Wilson.

Possibly. It will be handled on case-by-case basis. We will do our best to hold and find a new available date for you.

Earl & Wilson will have available, for a fee, off-duty St. Paul Police Officers for all and any events. It is our recommendation that you utilize this service to ensure a safe environment for your event.

Our policies are in line with most venues.
- All candles must be surrounded by glass (referred to as “no open flame”).
- We do not allow bubbles, glitter, foam, fog, rice or confetti.
- Rose petals may be used inside on the tables.
- No tape is to be affixed to painted surfaces. 

ARE THERE RESTRICTIONS ON DECOR?

Other than Catering, you may bring in outside vendors.

However, you do have the added convenience of utilizing the talented list we have assembled for our Preferred Vendor List. These folks are familiar with our space and have been vetted to meet our expectations for excellence in service and professionalism. Many vendors on the list have created special service menus and pricing for events held at Earl & Wilson. 

CAN WE BRING IN ANY VENDOR OF OUR CHOICE?

If liquor is to be served, it must be served by either your Caterer, who may hold a liquor license or one of the Bartending Services from our Preferred Vendor List.

The Caterer or Bar Service will ensure no underage consumption and that alcohol served does not leave the premises. 

CAN WE BRING IN OUR OWN ALCOHOL?


Yes, we have lighting vendors on our Preferred Vendor list for your convenience or you can use your own vendor.

Yes, we offer reduced rental for “off-peak” months November - April.
